Now that the New Years crowds have died down, we’re still pretty famished over here at Devonshire. For us restaurant obsessives, and those that just want a break from their apartment’s kitchen, we live in a city with plenty of new restaurants that open weekly. From Cambridge to Boston, here are the ones we will be making reservations to in 2023. 

Tonino 

The Italian-inspired neighborhood restaurant is famous for homemade dough and hand tossed Napolitana style pizza. Tonino is so authentic, it even draws inspiration from the small neighborhoods surrounding Rome’s city center. Opening the menu, foodies will find the offerings of scratch cooking, replete with the Italian ethos that makes the most out of every ingredient. 

Wei Shu Wu Hot Pot 

Gotta clear out the sinuses somehow! The perfect winter weather offering, Wei She Wu brings bubbling vats of spicy Sichuan hot pot right near Devonshire. Choose from endless options of meat, seafood, and veggies to dunk. The restaurant’s wide wooden tabletops, hosting the installed hot spots, are perfect for accommodating groups. 

Puttshack 

Here’s a fun date night idea: combine mini putt with grub. This delicious bar and restaurant hosts a 26,000-square-foot mini golf course. Over two floors, smack golf balls, sip scrumptious cocktails, and dine over breathtaking views of the nearby water front. 

Bab Al-Yemen

Expanding the area around Devonshire’s horizons, Bab Al-Yemen is the very first Yemeni restaurant in Boston. The adventurous diner serves flatbreads from a clay oven, spice chicken with rice, stone bowls brimming with lamb stew, and other dishes from Yemen. This type of cuisine is highly regarded in the Middle East for its rich and diverse flavor palette.
